Play-off Preview!!!6/3/07

In the young 5-6 division only two teams remain and this coming Monday afternoon the #1
Redskins will take on the #6 Ravens in the 5-6 Division Superbowl. The last time these two
teams met was back in Week 2 of the season and the Redskins were victorious by a score of
22-12. The Ravens finished the season with only one win but are putting it all together at the
right time and have beaten two higher seeds to make it to the Superbowl, can they win one
more and be the first #6 seed in the history of the league to win a championship???

In the up and coming
7-8 division just four teams remain. The AFC Championship game will
see the Bengals take on the Jets and in the NFC the Packers will take on the Panthers. The
last time the Bengals and Jets played it was the final game of the regular season and the
Bengals shut out the Jets 12-0, however this is the playoffs and the Jets are fresh of their win
against the #1 Broncos but can they keep it going to the Superbowl? In the NFC the
Panthers lost out to the Packers back in week 3 by one TD, can they turn it around for a
chance to play in the Tuesday Superbowl?

In the ever popular
9-11 division round 2 of the playoffs begins and with 8 teams remaining
there is everything to play for. In the AFC the Texans will face the Bengals, these teams went
head to head in week 5 of the season and the Texans won an exciting game 18-8 can Mr
Minton's mighty Bengals turn it around to get to the AFC championship game? In the other
AFC game the undefeated Chiefs face the Jets, the last time the two teams met in week 2
and it was one of the Chiefs closer games of the season but the Chiefs won 25-14, since
then the Jets have won 3 games and hoping to advance into the AFC Championship game.
In the NFC the Panthers will face the Rams, the teams played a few weeks ago in week 5 of
the season and the Rams won convincingly 39-12, the Panthers will have to use every bit of
its #3 ranked offense to turn it around in round 2. The final game in the NFC will see the
Bucs face the Packers, it was a one sided affair the last time the teams played each other as
the Bucs defeated the Packers 58-0. The #1 seeded Bucs fresh of their bye week are
looking to continue their season into the NFC Championship game, can the Packers halt
their progress?

In the competitive
12-14 division the Chiefs and the Jets will go head to head for the AFC
Championship. This will be the game of the week as the 2 experienced coaches Mr McKeon
for the Chiefs and Sarah Tanner for the Jets will play for a chance to get to the big game.
The last time these to teams met was back in week 3 and the Chiefs held on for a close
33-28 victory if both teams produce a full squad this could be the one to watch!!!In the NFC
the Redskins will face the Falcons, the Falcons finished the season with a #6 ranking but
have gone rampant in the playoffs beating both the #3 and #2 seedings, if they are to
advance to the Superbowl they have to defeat the yet to be defeated Redskins!!!

Good luck to all the teams remaining in the playoffs and remember every team that reaches
at least the AFC or NFC Championship game will receive a trophy or a medal for your
achievements. Play hard but play fair don't loose your focus and remember what got you into
the playoffs. Show respect and good sportsmanship to the other team and have fun!!!
