Play-off Preview!!!11/27/06

In the 5-6 division the #1 Packers face the #5 Chargers for a chance to play in the
championship game, the last time these two teams played was in week 6 and the Packers
beat the Chargers in the final minute to take the win 24-22, expect another close game this
weekend in this young division. The #2 Chiefs and the #3 Falcons also played each other
previously, back in week 5 and the Falcons edged out another close one with a 20-18 win.

In the
7-8 division the AFC will see the #1 Chargers coming of their bye week facing the #4
Patriots these two teams went head to head in week 2 of the schedule and the Chargers
defeated the Patriots by a score of 18-13. In the NFC the #1 Bears also coming off a bye
week will face the #4 Vikings the last time they played each other was on opening day of the
season and the Bears posted a shut out beating the Vikings 18-0, the Vikings are hoping for
a different result this time around.

The hugely popular
9-11 division will see the #1 Raiders go up against the #8 Patriots this
will be the first time the two teams will face each other and the undefeated Raiders will be
looking to extend their streak deep into the play-offs also in the AFC the #3 Colts will go up
against the #7 Chargers in their first meeting of the season with the #7 chargers are looking
to cause the big upset. In the NFC the #1 Packers will go against the #8 Panthers to see
who will go on to play another day. The game of the day in the 9-11 division will be the #2
Cowboys against the #3 Bears, both teams finished the season with a 4-2 record, the
Cowboys have the #2 ranked offense in the division while the Bears have the #2 ranked
defense, you know what they say about defenses.

In the competitive
12-14 division teams are playing for a place in the divisional final and the
big game will be a re-match of week 2 when the Patriots defeated the Bengals 42-36, look
for another close game the second time around. The other AFC match up will see the #1
Dolphins go up against the #5 Raiders, the last time these teams met it was a one sided
affair in favor of the Dolphins, however the Raiders have had a strong finish to the season
and hope to make an impact in this game. In the NFC the #2 Packers have an easier run on
paper as they go up against the #6 Bears the two teams played back in week 2 and the
Packers won the contest by a score of 32-20. The final game in the division will be the #1
Lions facing the #5 Cowboys, it was a close game earlier in the season when the Lions
edged out the Cowboys 28-20, the Cowboys only won two games all season but are looking
to knock #1 seed of the top spot.
