The Manchester Wolves Arena 2 football team based in Manchester, NH is celebrating their
5th year in the Arena 2 football league and has announced 2008 as the year of the fan!!!
The Wolves have teamed up with Peabody Youth Flag Football and the New Hampshire
Youth Flag Football league in order to help raise some funds for the leagues and offer a
once in a lifetime opportunity to one team from either league.
This PYFF season, tickets for the game Manchester Wolves V's Mahoning Valley Thunder
on July 12th at 7:05pm in the Verizon wireless arena are on sale for just $10 (face value
$19/$29). Tickets are on sale now and can be bought from PYFF at the field or by mailing a
check to 66 Walnut Park, Lynn, MA, out of each ticket sold the league will raise $5.
During our season as part of the fund raiser each team in the 9-11 division will be given 10
tickets to sell to their friends and family and the team that sells the most tickets by the end
of the season will play at half time on July 12th in the Verizon wireless arena in front of
thousands of people against a team from the NHFFL.
The Arena football league games are fast, very high scoring, hard hitting and a lot of fun!!!
The field is almost exactly the same size that our players play on week by week, if you have
never seen an Arena game live i suggest you try it as every game has a family friendly
atmosphere with lots of handouts and souvenirs (if the ball ends up in the stands, the fans
get to keep it!!!)
The tickets will be distributed to the coaches at our pre-season coaches meeting and will
then be passed on to the players at the start of the season. This competition is only open to
the 9-11 age bracket, however anyone from any age bracket can still buy tickets from the
league if they wish to go to the game. This is a great opportunity for our league and one
lucky team thats gets to play at the Arena, so good luck!!!!
