| This summer Peabody Youth Flag Football is organizing a flag football tournament for families, flag football fanatics and football fans of all kinds. This event is the third tournament organized by PYFF and promises to be the best one yet. Last year 26 teams from 6 different leagues took part in the event and this years event is set to be bigger still. The main event will be the flag football tournament which will be played at the home of the New England Patriots. All games will be played in Gillette stadium in Foxboro, MA on the same field that Patriots play on!!! The competition is co-ed and will be divided into three age categories 5-8 yr olds 9-11 yr olds 12-15 yr olds (Age as of Sept 1st current year) The tournament entry fee is $295 per team and every team is guaranteed at least 3 games. Due to the time restrictions we will only be accepting 32 teams total into the tournament. 16 team spots will be reserved for Peabody teams, leaving 16 spots available for out of town teams. On-line registration is now open at no charge to your team, first come first served. 5-8 Division - Full 9-11 Division - Full 12-15 Division - Full (see below for more tournament details) Also on the day there will be a special appearance from the Patriots Cheerleaders and the Patriots Mascot "Pat the Patriot".There will also be raffles for various prizes from Dicks sporting goods vouchers to tickets to the Manchester Wolves Arena league football team. Tournament Details All games will be played on the same day!!! The 12-15 Division tournament will run from 9:00 am onwards The 9-11 Division tournament will run from 11:30 am onwards The 6-8 Division tournament will run from 2:30 pm onwards Games will be 26 minutes long consisting of two 13 minute halves. All games will be played under NFL youth flag football tournament rules. Maximum roster size is 10. Players do not have to had played in the league to participate but must be a registered NFL youth flag football league. Teams are responsible for supplying their own flags and jersey's.
