

NFL regional qualifier to be held in Giants Stadium!!!8/5/05
Every fall, NFL FLAG Football leagues have the opportunity to
compete in Regional Tournaments around the country. Winning
teams from each age bracket go on to participate in the NFL
FLAG National Tournament of Champions.
The NFL youth regional qualifier will be held on Sunday October
16th. Peabody Youth Flag football will be organizing transport and
accommodation. Winners of each division will be automatically
entered Into the 2005 Tournament of Champions which will take
place November 18-19 at DISNEY'S WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS®
Complex. Hotel and airfare accommodations will be provided by
the National Football League for one coach and 8 to 10 players.
Teams consist of eight to 10 players – five on the field, with up to
five substitutions. All NFL FLAG Rules will be followed, with a few
additions.
Age Brackets are as follows:
9-11 Co-Ed (teams may be made up of co-ed, all girls, or all boys)
12-14 Boys
12-14 Girls
All participants must be of age as of Sept. 1, 2005.
A copy of each player’s birth certificate is required onsite.
Regional Tournament Day - Please note the following for the
day of the tournament:
The NFL FLAG Regional Tournament waiver and a copy of each
player’s birth certificate must be submitted at the check-in tent.
Participants' 2005 NFL FLAG jerseys and belts must be worn at
Regional Tournaments. Extras will not be provided.
Check-in for all Regional Tournaments will begin at 7 a.m.
NFL FLAG Games will begin promptly at 8:45 a.m.
Each coach will receive an email with detailed information about
the event.
