5th Season underway!!!
Finally after the winter months Peabody Youth Flag Football is back in full swing. This is the
3rd spring season that flag football has been played in Peabody and every season goes from
strength to strength. The league started in the spring of '04 and had just 4 teams playing
games each week, spring '05 had 28 teams playing each week and now in the spring of '06
we have 38 teams playing flag football every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. This
season there are 10 teams playing in the 6-8 yr old division, 16 teams playing in the 9-11
division and a record 12 teams playing in the 12-14 division. With every passing season it
seems that the players and coaches are understanding the game more and more, which is
resulting in tougher and tougher competition every year. Below are some pics of previous
season champions. Good luck to all the team this season and hopefully we can make it the
best one ever!!!
